Dr Simon Jenkins BDS 1984

Mr Jenkins BDS qualified as a
dental surgeon from Sheffield in 1984. Initial employment was a six
month house post in the oral surgery department at the Charles Clifford dental
hospital in Sheffield. He moved to Swansea in 1985 and after a short
associate position purchased this practice in Russell Street.
He has attended numerous post graduate courses involving many aspects of cosmetic dentistry, periodontology (gum disease) root canal treatments, clinical governance, cross infection control, audit, oral surgery, occlusion, TMJ and headaches, migraines, bite adjustments, "Cerec" single visit porcelain crowns, radiation protection and much more.
He is a qualified vocational trainer and audit facilitator. He has over 20 years experience in restorative dentistry and his particular interests, and focus of the practice is periodontology (gum disease), endodontics (root canal), some cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening and CEREC porcelain work and cross infection control.
Mr Jenkins advertises "cosmetic dentistry" and provides some of this type of work, however it is important to know that Mr Jenkins is not a 'specialist'. If you wish to see a specialist, or if we think you should see a specialist, we can refer you to one who specializes in the field that you require. We have always referred cases for orthodontics and implants and now, increasingly, specialist referrals are being used for surgical dentistry, complex cosmetic dentistry and molar root canal work.
Mr Jenkins does not provide second opinions. If you would like a second opinion you can be referred to an appropriate specialist.
Mr Jenkins is a member of:
The British Dental Association (No. 59063)
