Following numerous dental plan enquiries from patients I have
investigated every dental payment plan available and decided that Practice
Membership Plan is most suitable to offer here at Russell Street.
The plan is excellent value and cost effective.
What
is the Practice Membership Plan?
The Practice Membership
Plan promotes maintenance and prevention, providing you with your core
dental care and allowing you to spread the cost by making small regular monthly
payments.
For only14 pounds per month you
will be entitled to:
Ÿ
Two comprehensive dental health
checks per year including full gum health and oral cancer checks
Ÿ
Two scale and polishes per year if
you need them,
or up to four if you are having gum treatment.
Ÿ
Any necessary x-rays
Ÿ
Up to 10,000 pounds per annum worldwide
dental accident and emergency insurance cover
Ÿ
A 20% discount off our private fee
scale for any additional dental treatment you may need or want including
cosmetic treatment like teeth whitening or CEREC.
Ÿ
Facility to spread the cost of
discounted dental treatment, including cosmetic treatment, over 6 months through
your monthly direct debit
Ÿ
Guaranteed access for same day
emergency appointments during normal surgery hours
For convenience your
monthly payments can be taken by direct debit eliminating the need for cash at
your regular visits. Alternatively
you can pay annually by cheque.
Here are some examples
of how it works:
You are abroad and your filling comes out. The local dentist charges a call out fee and a charge to repair the tooth. You pay, get a receipt, and complete a claim form when you return to the UK. When the claim has been processed you will be sent a cheque from the insurers for the cost of the treatment less an excess of 25 pounds
How do I join?
What if I dont join?
What's not included? Treatment requiring referral. These treatments include, orthodontics, implants, complex surgical, complex bite, complex root canal, complex aesthetic, tempero-mandibular joint problems, snoring problems and second opinions.
Historical feedback: As from October 2007 the plan has been operational for 18 months and a summary of the figures shows that on average patients paid 8% less overall than they would have on the pay as you go scheme.
